Day One, Week Twelve, of My Twelve Week Cut for My First Figure Competition.
Diet:
Saturday (May 13th) I cut to 1225 calories/day. (I’m still at these calories and macros.)
My daily macros are:
135 g Protein
61 g Carbohydrates
49 g Fat
Since the 13th I’ve had two days where I went over my calories. I’m considering them “refeeds.” They didn’t really affect my weight loss. I’ve also gone over on my carbs almost every single day. I haven’t really been concerned about these things since my weight (hopefully fat loss) has steadily decreased at a safe pace.
Stats:

Latest Body Fat Measurement: 13.8%

I
I said I was going to make sandwiches with these. RECIPE
But, I tasted one and ended up eating all of them in one sitting with Walden Farms Raspberry Jelly and Marshmallow Dip!
Still obsessed with oatmeal topped with yogurt.
I’m still eating entire cakes on the weekends thanks to this recipe on The Macro Experiment!
Got serious about meal prep last weekend! Lean ground turkey and asparagus.
My body composition has changed a little in the last 8 months.
My current (next week) workout schedule (May 27th – June 2nd):
Saturday: Group Power (teach) + Posing Practice
Sunday: Weight Training at the GYM (lifting)-legs/glutes/abs/shoulders back
Monday: Weight Training at Home (lifting)-triceps/biceps/core/abs/calves/chest
Tuesday: Weight Training with Scarlet (lifting-shoulders/back)
Wednesday: Group Power (teach)
Thursday: Weight Training with Scarlet (lifting-legs)
Friday: Weight Training at the GYM (lifting)-upper body (whatever I don’t get done on Tuesday)
Thoughts About the Week:
I recorded myself posing on Saturday. When I watched it I felt like I looked “small.” Not small, like slender. But, like, little bone small. If that makes sense. I’ve always thought of myself as having a med-large (range) bone structure. No matter. I just find it interesting.
Still have cellulite (albeit, a lot less)! In case you were wondering. I don’t think I’ll rid myself of all of it before competition day.
I’m in disbelief about this competition being only two weeks away! I can’t believe I’m in my last week of prep! I don’t feel like my body is exactly where I imagined it to be. But, I’m going to continue to give it my ALL until the bitter end!
For the next week my goals are to get plenty of rest and maintain as much muscle as possible!
For this entire process I’ve been flexible dieting (iifym-if it fits your macros). Which is exactly what I’ll be doing for the rest of my life, since I can’t imagine ever cutting any particular food out of my diet.
My calories and macros are very low right now! After I take my last bite of each meal I have to have a conversation, in my mind, with myself on why I should’t have a little more to eat.
-You’re going to be on stage in ___ weeks!
-In ___hours you can eat again and you’re going to have___.
-You’ve been doing this for ___days. I’m pretty sure you can do it for ___days!
-just fuel. And your tank is full enough to make it to the next station (meal)!
-Go into the bathroom, lift up your shirt, and stare at your abs! Then pull that teeny tiny suit out and stare at it!
I haven’t felt full in months! But, I still feel satisfied after every meal if I give myself 20 minutes.
I’ll let you know my peak week plans in my next update post.
Have a great week!
